Answer: Vermiculite is the mineralogical name given to hydrated lamina mica type materials, which on heating exfoliates or expands. The exfoliated mineral has many applications in a variety of industries.

Question: Is vermiculite safe to use?
Answer: There are no known health hazards from vermiculite itself.
